XOJO’s journey in the hip-hop scene began in 1996-97, backpacking and street-teaming for friends by promoting mixtapes, basement parties, and shows. Driven by a passion for music and a commitment to helping others grow, XOJO quickly found a niche in supporting the culture from the ground up.

In 2000, XOJO expanded into bartending as a supplemental income source, which became an unexpected calling. Creating an atmosphere where everyone had a great time felt like second nature, and this role became a cornerstone of XOJO’s career for over 20 years in the hip-hop nightlife scene.

Eventually, XOJO transitioned from behind the bar to the door, leveraging years of connections and a keen ear for music to curate and promote hip-hop showcases. With a firm stance against the “pay-to-play” model, XOJO worked tirelessly to secure headliners without charging artists, forging relationships with bar and venue owners from Long Island to New Jersey in the process.

Now an established force in the industry, XOJO continues to grow and evolve. As a key player in 6th Man Entertainment, XOJO oversees public relations and management, bringing expertise and dedication to every endeavor in the ever-evolving world of hip-hop and entertainment.
